Overloading with theoretical knowledge often results in the fact that they lack practical skills and tools for performing their jobs. This refers both to substantial preparation for future professional tasks and soft skills (communication, team work, leadership skills, etc.).

Thus we may ask: what strengthens the position of young persons on the labour market?

According to a report prepared by Deloitte and the Faculty of Human Capital Development at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), 80% of students and graduates state that a person without professional experience has small chances at getting a job.* Practical training, internships and educational programmes seem to be a good solution for persons who realise that a diploma from a college or university not supported with experience will not ensure them any success on the market.

One of such programmes is the annual postgraduate industrial management programme run by our institution, addressed to graduates of Silesianum Professional technical faculties. The participants acquire professional experience by accomplishing an industrial mission (a project or a set of tasks) in our partner companies. They also supplement their technical education with skills in the area of industrial management and communication. During the course we provide substantial supervision of our experts.

If you value development opportunities and are considering building a reliable career path, we invite you to learn more about the Silesianum Professional programme. Taking part in it may also help you build professional experience.
